Public funded projects
We are commited to innovation, collaboration, and societal impact. Each initiative reflects our dedication to addressing key challenges and delivering meaningful results in partnership with public institutions and funding bodies.
Empowering Innovation in the Industrial Landscape
In 2023, our company secured funding from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region as part of the Ambition Industrie du Futur (Ambition Future Industry) program. This grant supports the implementation of advisory services aimed at helping us adopt innovative practices and cutting-edge technologies, thereby strengthening our position in the industry.
Pyxalis at the heart of the ImSPOC-UV project
Pyxalis, in collaboration with its partners, including the University of Grenoble-Alpes, is advancing the ImSPOC-UV (Imaging Spectrometer On Chip for Ultraviolet) project. This initiative aims to develop a compact, matchbox-sized spectral imaging instrument with high wavelength resolution, enabling detailed analysis across various domains.
Aligned with our core values, ImSPOC-UV addresses pressing climate and air quality challenges by offering an alternative to traditional instruments that are typically large, complex, and costly. This innovative technology will support atmospheric pollution monitoring both from space, using smaller satellites with high revisit rates, and at ground level, through compact stations deployed in urban environments or via airborne measurement campaigns using drones and other aircraft.
The project brings together regional expertise in imaging and electronics and receives funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), supported by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region and the European Union.
SPHINX : A new generation of “3D-stacking” technology image sensors
Our SPHINX program (Smart Integration and enHanced Performances for Image SeNsors) is an ambitious industrial research initiative focused on paving the way for the next generation of image sensors using 3D-stacking technology.
By developing a dedicated component of the manufacturing process, validated through a test vehicle, and designing advanced process modules based on the CMOS40 node, SPHINX aims to enable the production of high-performance image sensors optimized for low-light conditions. These sensors are intended for a wide range of applications, including environmental monitoring, surveillance, transportation, and biomedical imaging.
SPHINX was selected by #FranceRelance as part of the ministerial recovery plan's (re)localization initiative.
Digitization project
The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region has supported PYXALIS in its digital transformation initiative. With guidance from Atouts Numériques, we launched an ambitious project aimed at enhancing our competitiveness through the adoption of advanced digital technologies.
