Living our values

At PYXALIS, we prioritize ORIGINALITY, WELL-BEING, AUTHENTICITY, and RESPONSIBILITY in everything we do. Originality fuels innovation in product development, while well-being ensures a positive work environment for our employees. Authenticity and responsibility

underscore our commitment to ethical and sustainable business practices, coupled with ISO9001 certified development methods.

A values-driven management approach offers several advantages.

By establishing a common framework of reference, it ensures that all employees share a clear understanding of the company’s core principles and objectives. This alignment fosters a strong sense of purpose and direction across the organization. It helps guide decision-making, especially in complex or ambiguous situations, by providing a set of shared values that employees can rely on.

Additionally, it promotes a culture of trust and collaboration, as everyone is working toward the same goals and adhering to the same ethical standards. Ultimately, it creates a cohesive and engaged workforce that is more likely to contribute to the long-term success of the company.

Innovative Management

Aurélie, one of Pyxalis’Ressource Manager explains her vision about innovative Management:

Trend or necessity? It’s a necessity.
Leaders, managers, and employees must constantly find new ways to cooperate. Managerial innovation involves finding new solutions to the questions we ask ourselves.
For example how to promote collaboration and cohesion ? how to offer more autonomy and responsibility ?
Our managers are actively using and testing new management tools such as Codev and Lego.
Collective intelligence is a valuable asset for collaborative work, enhancing creativity, productivity, and performance in the company. By modernizing our practices, we will meet the challenge of preserving team strength. A resource manager must reinvent themselves, be willing to shift perspectives, and act as a balancing force. But this can only succeed with a solid and unifying team.
It’s up to us to have the right tools and indicators to maintain this way of working.

Collaborative Organisation & Governing Groups

The company has aimed to provide maximum autonomy to its employees by creating working groups within various strategic reviews of the business. These groups are responsible for governing and making decisions without intervention from management. This approach gives the groups significant responsibility, requiring extensive collective effort and the development of strong collaborative ties among members. These groups are called governance bodies. They focus on key areas such as business entries, planning and resources, and strategy.

Shared Experiences: Employee Testimonials

A journey built on trust and growth (Marianne, Support team)

I joined Pyxalis almost 12 years ago, hired while I was pregnant. This trust from the very beginning gave me wings to fully invest myself before my maternity leave and the first “Pyxalis baby” ☺
Since my position was newly created, everything had to be built from scratch. Fortunately, I had the chance to grow within a supportive and caring leadership team.
Back then, we were just 15… and since then, Pyxalis has continued to evolve - just like my career.
Always encouraged to develop my skills, I obtained an accountant diploma while working, then pursued further training to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Project Management. At the time, Pyxalis granted me half a day per week to focus on my studies, allowing me to broaden my skill set and take on communication responsibilities - another hat to wear !
Beyond professional growth, I’ve also benefited from personal development opportunities, including time management training, communication, … . When I requested a part-time schedule to balance my personal and professional life, Pyxalis supported me, making it easier to thrive in both areas…
A company where I belong.

Support and Inclusion (Lise, Support team)

“RQTH” (Recognition as a Disabled Worker) might sound like a sneeze, but it’s actually a journey…I lost a eardrum in a diving accident. Over time, communication challenges and mental fatigue grew, both at work and in my personal life. I realized I needed adaptations and support. When I was ready, I took the necessary steps to get my workstation assessed and medical evaluations done. At first, my desk placement made interactions difficult, but the company immediately adjusted my workspace and provided adapted equipment. An ergonomic specialist also assessed my needs. The process to obtain official recognition took about a year, but from the beginning, I felt fully supported by the management and my colleagues. Feeling well, included, respected, autonomous, and empowered, simply being in the right place, is a good foundation for collaboration.
Now, with our HR colleagues, we strive to communicate and raise awareness about disability in a broader context. Each of us has our own perceptions of disability. 80% of disabilities are invisible. By promoting inclusion for all employees, Pyxalis fosters a strong sense of belonging. The environment creates the situation of disability, which is why we refer to “people in situations of disability.” By adapting the environment, we reduce or even eliminate the challenges related to disability.

Mobility (Marie, Project Manager)
After five years as a pixel designer, I wanted to take my career in a new direction. When the opportunity came up internally, I applied for the Project Manager position.
Taking on a Project Manager role had been discussed for some time. Since 2018, I had already been involved in managing R&D projects at Pyxalis, which strengthened my desire to advance my career in this direction.
I’m not even worried about missing the pixels, since I can still provide technical support if needed.
My mobility request got approved super quickly, and I’m really happy I made the move !

Progressive Retirement (Christophe, Ressource Manager)
I recently decided to go for progressive retirement, and I’m pleased to share that the company has been supportive. This is a first for Pyxalis, and it’s nice to see them open to the idea. The management has been really understanding and I have no doubt we’ll work together to adjust my schedule for a smoother transition.
