Drive the future of high-reliability image sensors! As our Imaging Solutions Packaging Development Engineer, you'll be the technical owner, designing and validating advanced packaging (including chiplet architectures and high-speed interconnects) while expertly managing the entire development cycle and coordinating with our key fabless partners. Your innovation will ensure our sensors meet the toughest mechanical, thermal, and electrical demands, especially for challenging markets like space.

The objective of this internship is to develop a formal verification methodology applied to two key blocks used in Pyxalis image sensors. These blocks (timer and timer compare) form the core of the sensor’s timing system, ensuring proper image sequencing. Developing this methodology and applying it to these two functions will ultimately improve the quality of these blocks (by reducing bugs) through increased verification coverage.

The design of radiation-hardened analog circuits requires the application of rules that are often empirical. The purpose of this internship is to automate the charge injection technique within an electrical simulation environment.

The proposed internship initially involves building a model of the pixel array sequencing for this specific sensor, with a temporal granularity corresponding to the “matrix line time.” This model will then be made configurable to simulate the effect of various sequencing choices on the image (multi-line acquisition, interlacing, region of interest, integration time, inter-frame time, etc.).
