You will be the champion of efficiency across critical stages—from Synthesis and DFT Insertion to ATPG —ensuring the speed, testability, and integrity of our complex circuits. Your mission is to define crucial timing constraints, drive formal verification and compliance checks, and continuously advance our CAD environment to keep us at the cutting edge of semiconductor technology.

As an FPGA Digital Development Engineer, join our innovative and multidisciplinary Systems team to master the art of digital design on FPGA targets! You will be at the forefront of prototyping and developing crucial application systems (demonstrators, cameras, test systems), taking ownership from specification all the way to bitstream generation, while ensuring the reusability and efficiency of our IP architectures.

As the FPGA Digital Development Technical Expert, you will be the architectural leader and technical guarantor for our cutting-edge systems! You will define the FPGA architectures for new products, drive the development and evolution of complex digital blocks, and actively contribute to our intellectual property by mentoring the team, proposing innovative solutions for patents, and disseminating our technical expertise both internally and externally.

The objective of this internship is to develop a formal verification methodology applied to two key blocks used in Pyxalis image sensors. These blocks (timer and timer compare) form the core of the sensor’s timing system, ensuring proper image sequencing. Developing this methodology and applying it to these two functions will ultimately improve the quality of these blocks (by reducing bugs) through increased verification coverage.

The design of radiation-hardened analog circuits requires the application of rules that are often empirical. The purpose of this internship is to automate the charge injection technique within an electrical simulation environment.

The proposed internship initially involves building a model of the pixel array sequencing for this specific sensor, with a temporal granularity corresponding to the “matrix line time.” This model will then be made configurable to simulate the effect of various sequencing choices on the image (multi-line acquisition, interlacing, region of interest, integration time, inter-frame time, etc.).
